How To Set Up Facebook Lead Ads Through HubSpot

Facebook Lead Ads are the newest way to capture high quality leads in the place where your customers are spending the most time – and they don't even have to leave the platform. You can create custom forms inside Facebook that automatically populate with a user's Facebook data. If set up correctly, users can go from impression to lead in just two clicks.

We were so excited about this new feature that we made a how-to video as soon as we could!

 

It seems like HubSpot is just as excited about lad ads as we are! They've dedicated space in the content menu specifically for the ads tool. To find the tool, navigate to Content > Ads.

If you've never used lead ads before, hubspot has created an intro video that showcases real examples of lead ads in action (the one we made above is pretty great, too). When you're ready, click "create a lead ad".

For now, you still need to connect a personal profile to HubSpot in order to access lead ads, but they're already working on a way around this. You'll thank yourself in the long run if you set up your Facebook page on Facebook Business. For now, navigate to the page you want to run an ad from and click 'continue'.

Screen Shot 2017-09-26 at 1.09.36 AM.pngBehold the power of custom forms. The more information a user puts into Facebook, the more detailed your form can be. The default option on a lead ad form is email and full name, but you have any number of options, including relationship status and custom questions. Select your custom fields and click 'next'.

We're now on a screen that looks like the familiar ad format. Set your headline, ad copy, budget, audience as you would any other ad, but because you're using a lead ads, you can customize which call to action your audience will see. Set your preferred call to action and click 'Promote'You're now ready to run a lead ad!
